An incredibly enjoyable course. We were only able to play a twilight round on Osprey, but found the course to be a great nine holes of golf. All we could talk about is when we would play the rest of the course.

I played Okeeheelee yesterday and it was love at first sight. The grass was so perfect I thought it was fake. Overall conditions were very good and a fun challenging round from your selected Tee box can test anyone. The staff was wonderful too, upon arrival they greeted you and helped me get set up and join my group. The Pro shop is nice for a county / public facility. The greens were receptive and firm and in excellent condition. They rolled true and were of decent not Lightning speed. 4.5 hours to play wasn’t too bad either. They greeted you again after the round a wiped your clubs , driving range is good too $7 for a decent medium bucket I’d recommend this to any golfer. $77 per round for me / $15 replay but good luck on that as volume is usually full.

Course wasn’t in great shape, chase around by lady’s hitting from the red tees that should have been hitting from the whites. Staff wasn’t friendly, marshal said it should take 1:20 mins for nine hole and me and another guy were playing from gold tees. Only person decently friendly was the cart kid, and they only take credit card no cash. Being from Canada no one really wanted to help a persons out except the guy I got paired with. Definitely wasn’t worth the 50 dollar Uber ride.

Okeeheelee golf course is really a great Palm Beach County course. It is similar to Osprey Point in west Boca Raton. Teeboxes, fairways, rough, greens, etc. are always in good to very good condition- they’re never an issue, but I rarely see them as nice as Osprey or other courses around. For as many years now as I’ve been coming to Okeeheelee, the staff at the starter booth seem to be consistently unusually rude. Golf buddies have all noticed it. Even random players I’ve played with have stated the same. Once you make it past the odd starters, the course is really great. Nice wildlife, tough holes, great landscaping, lots of water. Definitely a must play if you play the other Palm Beach County courses.

Beautiful course. With that said, the staff is unacceptable. Elitist behavior and condescending demeanor is evident in any and all interactions. They do not honor the signs that THEY post, and online systems are dysfunctional. The harassment done by the staff makes me want to never come back here - though it is unfortunately my only option. It feels like they only treat you with a modicum of respect if you’re a white person.
